The RMS Queen Elizabeth, sister ship Queen Mary’s improved, is a British ocean liner that sailed for Cunard Line. During the Second World War, the two ships were used as troop transports between the United States and the United Kingdom.
Retired in 1968, a fire broke out on board. The boat was then abandoned in the bay of Hong Kong.
The new ship of Cunard Line, to support the Queen Mary 2 on the line Southampton – Cherbourg – New York since 2010, is again the name of Queen Elizabeth.
